Every year Emerald Publishing invites each journal’s Editorial Team to nominate what they believe has been that title’s Outstanding Paper and up to three Highly Commended Papers from the previous 12 months. The article entitled “Decoding consumer perceptions of premium products with rule developing experimentation” (Alex Gofman, Howard Moskowitz, Marco Bevolo and Tonis Mets) published in the Journal of Consumer Marketing has been chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2011.

The 2010 Walston Chubb Award for Innovation goes to
Dr. Howard R. Moskowitz, Ph. D.

Dr. Howard Moskowitz has been selected to receive the 2010 Walston Chubb Award for Innovation, presented annually by Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society. This award recognizes and promotes creativity in science.

The award includes an honorarium, a Certificate of Recognition and the opportunity to present the 2010 Walston Chubb Lecture on Innovation at the Society's Annual Meeting to an audience of distinguished scientists and engineers as well as 250-300 undergraduate and graduate students participating in the Student Research Conference.

Dr. Moskowitz will receive his award at the Annual Meeting and International Research Conference in November 2010.

 

MJI receives nomination for the ESOMAR Excellence Award for Best Paper

June 2009

At the recent Fragrance 2009 Conference held in Cannes from June 22-24, the presented paper, Putting Fragrance in Perspective: The Case of Hotels (co-authored by Rieko Shofu, Marco Bevolo, David Moskowitz and Dr. Howard Moskowitz) was one of two papers nominated for the ESOMAR Excellence Award for the Best Paper.

This award reflects the broad aspects and challenges faced by the industry today. Sponsored by ESOMAR, it carries a prize of 4,000 Euros. The winner will be announced at the ESOMAR Annual Congress in Montreux, September 15-18.

Dr. Howard R. Moskowitz is the recipient of the 2006 ARF Research Innovation Award, presented to an individual for the most innovative research idea - methodology, theory, service or solution developed in the previous year. Dr. Moskowitz developed the notion of RDE or Rule Developing Experimentation. RDE comprises easy-to-use Internet-enhanced experimental designs coupled with high-level, automatic analyses.

 

2006

 

Dr. Howard R. Moskowitz was presented with the 2006 Market Research Council Hall of Fame Award. This award is given to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the field of market research.

Howard Moskowitz was awarded the 2005 Charles Coolidge Parlin Marketing Research Award for his substantial contributions and unswerving dedication to the ongoing advancement of marketing research practices.
