Carolyn Cappello, Vice President of Field Operations

Carolyn has held various management positions with some of the most well-respected full service marketing research organizations over her 25 year professional career, such as Lieberman Research, AHF Marketing and DeKadt Marketing Research. Immediately prior to joining MJI, Carolyn was in management at General Foods Corp in New York where she was involved with a number of new major product development initiatives and launches, which provided exposure to the complexities of working within the food industry.
In 1993, Carolyn joined Moskowitz Jacobs with a charge to establish the Field Department which included responsibility for staffing, strategy, partnerships and the management of all data collection related functions for both qualitative and quantitative projects executed in the US and internationally. To this end, she was instrumental in establishing partnerships with several independent field providers throughout the US which handled MJI`s product and concept projects.
Carolyn also managed the direction of MJI`s wholly-owned and licensed consumer testing facilities known as DesignLab, which are cutting-edge facilities for testing new food and beverage products in five major markets in the US.
Carolyn also has responsibility as MJI`s Web Survey Manager, which involves the global coordination of panel sample providers which are utilized in the execution of MJI program surveys. She looks after all aspects of pricing, sample procurement, translation, launch, monitoring and overall management of projects during the data collection phase.
Carolyn is an active member in several business and industry organizations, including the National Market Research Association (MRA), The Northeast Chapter of the MRA, The US Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. She is listed in the Empire Who`s Who Among Executive & Professional Women 2005 and 2006.
Carolyn attended Queens College and holds a BA in History.
